At the AGM on 25th May 2021 at Bellingham Town Hall the entire committee were re-elected. In addition there is one co-option which did not arrive in time for election. The committe now comprises:

  • Stan Owen - Trustee, Historian, Seasonal Exhibitions
  • Terry Bragg- Committee Member, Trustee
  • NIcola Bell - Committee Member, Sector Advisor, Visitor Surveys
  • Clare Mackey - Committee Member, Shop Manager, Volunteer Co-ordinator
  • Tony Brotherton - co-opted Committee Member, special projects

Our AGM for 2021 has been delayed from its usual slot in February. The delayed AGM will be held on Tuesday May 25th at 7pm in the Town Hall Bellingham. We have chosen larger premises as the usual Methodist Hall is not yet available and a larger premises allows for better social distancing.

Social distanced seating will apply and refreshments will be limited to tea/coffee/wine (in take away cups) and biscuits. Please wear a face mask or shield unless you are exempt.

Here is our events and exhibitions schedule:

We re-open for the season (subject to usual Government restrictions and caveats) on Wednesday 19th May.

We will be opening Wednesday to Sunday (inclusive) 10am to 4pm for the forseeable future plus Bank Holidays.

School Children making a film at the Heritage Centre

We are holding our Annual Classic and Vinatage Vehicle Rally on Sunday 23th of April 2023 between 10am and 4pm.

This popular event is an important fund raising event for the Heritage Centre.

In recent years we have attracted over 70 vehicles comprising cars, tractors, motor cycles and commercial vehicles. During the day a "lighthearted" competition is held with visitors and exhibitors asked to vote for the best turned out vehicle. The winner receives a cup and trophy which are donated by friends of the late Ian McInnes, who was an enthusiastic supporter of the event.
