Level Crossing Lamp, LNER, Welch patent. Rd. No. 711206. Nameplate 'PENISTON' (nearest station to crossing where used). These lamps were put inside a fitting with a red lens fixed to the top of the crossing gate. Bought by donor for about 10s in 1964.
