Lord Allendale, the Right Honourable Wentworth Blackett, 1st Baron Allendale of Allendale and Hexham, died at his London Home, aged 77. He had a prominent position in local public life since being elected M.P. 55 years earlier as W. B. Beaumont. His will was published on 20/04/1907.
