'Tea on the Train' provides light refreshments for visitors to Bellingham and the Heritage Centre. Situated on the old platform of Bellingham Station (on the Border Counties line) 'Tea on the Train' is situated in two Mark 1 railway carriages dating from the 1960s. You can enjoy tea/coffee or soft drinks with homemade cakes (Gluten free options available) amd light refreshments. Combined with a trip up the Hareshaw Linn, a visit to the Heritage Centre, a riverside walk on the River North Tyne and a walk round the beautiful vllage of Bellingham, perhaps a visit to St Cuthbert's Church, Cuddys Well and the Lang Pack, you can take in the history and heritage of the area while having a lovely family day out.

The Heritage Centre is family and dog friendly with activities for children (of all ages). Dogs are welcome outside of Tea on the Train under the gazebos to protect you from any inclement weather.

We welcome bookings to Tea on the Train at 01434 22 11 51.
