We operate PAY WHAT YOU THINK IT IS WORTH donations rather than admissions. There is no set admission fee. You simply pay what you think it is worth. Feel free to donate before or after admission or feel free to just visit us for free. (Group visits are still chargeable as these are usually separately agreed and additional volunteers are brought in to manage a group visit. The museum is often opened especially for such visits as well.)

Digital Collections

We have now made some of our Digital Collections available online. There are over 54,000 names in our ancestry database, nearly 2,000 Courant clippings and nearly 2,000 images from the Collier Collection (which is 100 years old). You can search these databases to see if you can find anything of interest or, you never know, you might find a picture of a relative from a 100 years ago. Go on, you know you want a peek!

Can you help us?

A volunteer working with our collections softwareWe are looking for new volunteers and Trustees to help with our plans to grow the Centre at the heart of Bellingham and the Redesdale area. We have a choice of roles to fit your skills, interests and experience, and provide training where required. Interested in finding out more? Please click on the More button below for further details.

Thank you.
