We have three exhibitions during 2020:

  1. 50th anniversary of the Postcard (1st October 1870)
  2. 130th anniversary of birth of Roderick (Roddy) Thompson (28th September 1890)
  3. 75th anniversary of ending of World War 2

We hope to see you at all of these events! In addition we have a book on Roderick (Roddy) Thompson, photographer, to launch.

Season Closure

We are now closed for the season. We re-open on Wednesday 1st April with three new exhibitions and a book launch planned for 2020. We hope to see you again during the year.

What's Happening?

audio guide example deviceWe have revamped the entrance and lobby to the centre for the 2019 season making it a more attractive and useable welcome for the visitor.

We have also introduced audio guide equipment for visitors to use to explain some of the key parts of the museum exhibition as they walk around it.
